On Saturday, December 26, 2020, Dorothy B. Kvapil, age 91, went home to be with the Lord.  She was a member of the Conservation Society, since 1982.  Dorothy was an avid quilter, loved gardening and was a great cook.  She was preceded in death by her husband Emil Kvapil and her sons, Ronald and David Kvapil.  Dorothy is survived by her children, Michael R. Kvapil and wife Edith and Joan K. Slade; grandchildren, Lauren Slade, Travis Slade, Tiffany Soto and husband Brandon; brother, Jim Broz and wife Bobbie; sisters, Alice Schoggins and husband Jerry, Barbara Hall; also, numerous nieces and nephews.  A memorial in Dorothy's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.   Services for Dorothy will be private.
