Dora M. Garcia went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the age of 65 years. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 11, 1951 to Candido and Lucia Martinez. Dora was a very strong supporter of St. Jude''s Children''s Hospital. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Dora is survived by her children, Angie Garcia, Betty Quintanilla and husband John, Gilbert Perez and wife Kimberly, Cathy Garcia and husband Humberto, Jessica Perez, and Juan Garcia; brothers, Roy, Jesse, and Ramiro; sisters, Yolanda, Frances, and Aurora; twenty-four grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Monday, May 9th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 10th at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Dora''s name to the St. Jude''s Children''s Hospital.
