Donald Wesley Copley went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2020 at the age of 73.  Donald was born in Anahuac, Tx on February 23, 1947.

Upon graduating Highschool, he attended one semester of college, and then served his country by joining the United States Navy. During his time in the Navy he served as a Torpedoman that operated and maintained underwater weapon launch systems, and was responsible for the safety of loading, unloading, shipping, and storage of Torpedos and Missles. He served on the USS Bennington, USS Prairie, and during the Vietnam War on the USS Kitty Hawk. He also traveled to many places while in the Navy including Japan, Hawaii, Chile, and Rio De Janeiro. After the Navy, he worked as a Utility operator for Friedrich A/C company in San Antonio, TX.

He was a fisherman by nature, loved hunting, dancing, and relaxing at the Lake House. He had a great sense of humor, was quick-witted, and kept us laughing with all his jokes.

He was preceded in death by his Daughter, Stephanie Copley, Mother; Margaret Louise Blair Copley, Brother; Norman Shillings, and Sister; Sue Nimitz.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years Frances Copley, Daughter; Michelle Lynn Copley, Grandchildren; Tyler and Taniesha Jarnagin, Hayley, Aaron and Chloe Jarnagin, Kaycie Jane Stanton, and Patrick John Cuevas, Great Grandchildren; Brayden A., Kaiydenn, Stephanie, Rosalie, Alex, and Brayden G.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 10:00 a.m., and a Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m.  Interment to follow at St. Mathew's Catholic Cemetery in Jourdanton, Tx at 2:00 p.m.
