David went to be with the Lord at the age of 53 on July 01, 2016, he was born December 26, 1962 in Shiner, Texas to Herman Pilat, Sr. and Adella Janek Pilat Lee. The family moved to San Antonio, Texas when he was a teenager. David worked for the City of San Antonio with Vector Control for 18 years. He is survived by his Wife; Carla Pilat and Sons; Dillon and Eric Pilat, Mother; Adella Lee and Mother-in-law; Norma Bath, Sisters; Pat Sibigtroth and Jim, Elizabeth Hagerty and Tim, Donna and husband Donald, Grandson; Zeth Briggs. Also Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Father; Herman Pilat and Step-father; George Lee, Brother; Herman Pilat, Jr., Gary Pilat ,Step son David Briggs and niece Marissa Pilot. David loved the out-doors, he loved to go boating and fishing at Braunig Lake, hunting and making Deer Sausage
There will be a Rosary at 1:30p.m. with a mass at 2:00p.m. for David at Holy Name Catholic Church. 3814 Nash Blvd, San Antonio TX.
