David Russell Mead II went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 23, 2015 at the age of 84 years. David was a Deacon at Southeast Baptist Church, was a member of the San Antonio Executives Assoc., graduated from Harlandale H.S., St. Mary''s Univ. and was a C.P.A. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, skeet shooting, and singing. He was preceded in death by his parents David Russell and Lena Mead; sister, Billie Sidoti. David is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Faye; children, Cheryl Starr, husband Stephen, Bambie Mead, husband Don Specht, and Pat Mead; brother-in-law, John Sidoti; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; also numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Sunday, November 29th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, November 30th . Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
