With heavy hearts, we announce that on Saturday, December 13, 2025, Darlene M. Ferguson, went to be with our Lord, at 49 years old. Darlene was born on February 07, 1976, to her parents Joe and Eva Apaez in San Antonio, Tx. Darlene loved her creative side, and enjoyed painting, writing, and also, running. She loved travel and was always excited to watch her husband play softball. Darlene will be remembered for all the love, care, and kindness, she shared with her close relatives, family, friends, and loved ones.

She is survived by her husband Daniel Ferguson; children: Summerlynn Marban (Anthony), and Evany Marrufo; step-daughters: Madison Ferguson McDermott (Sean), and Brittany Rodriguez; her beloved Jude; mother Eva Rocha Apaez; two sisters: Linda Apaez (Jesse), and Veronica Apaez; one brother Jason Apaez (Vanessa); and also numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Joe Z. Apaez; and her  grandparents Amalia and Gilbert Rocha.

A visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2025, we will have a departure at 9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be held at San Fernando Cemetery 2
