Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Cantu, entered eternal rest unexpectedly on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Cindy was born on June 26, 1968, to Ignacio & Gloria Cantu. Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Ignacio Cantu. Cindy is survived by her children Trevor & Lyndsey Lawrence, her mother, Gloria Cantu, siblings, Linda McMullen (William), Michelle Cantu, Bobby Cantu, JoAnn Martinez, Theresa Mauricio, Dianna "Dee Dee" Salazar, John Cantu, & beloved granddaughter, Cassidy Marie Lawrence, as well as numerous other family members & a multitude of dear friends.

Cindy learned work ethics very young, working in the family store alongside her parents. Cindy graduated from Dillard McCollum High School in 1986. She was a lover of nature, leading to her career beginning as a Cibolo Wildlife Rescue Warden.  She then began her second career at SW Bell continuing on to AT&T when they transitioned. During her time at these employers Cindy made many close friends whom she remained in contact with over the years.

Cindy enjoyed visiting various nature spots, her most favorite was to visit the beach to fish with her kids & friends. She loved to open her home to host gatherings, especially if it involved her pool, always quick to celebrate with loved ones, her children, & the many friends she devoted her life to. She was always willing to give but never asked for help. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand to a person struggling or in need, be it friend or acquaintance. She held a strong faith in God, a true and dedicated believer in Christ.

Cindy touched many lives, the short time she shared on earth with us, she will be deeply missed by her children & all who knew and loved her.

The viewing/visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from (4:00 – 8:00) PM. All services will conclude that evening, with the family honoring Cindy's wishes to be cremated.
