Charles Anthony Vaden entered into Heaven on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the age of 66 at his home in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to Leeland Vaden, Jr. and Edna Franks on May 24, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings William Odell, Brenda Joyce and Larry Gene Vaden. He is survived by his loving spouse of 17 years, Ida Vaden; his step children Verna Jackson, Eugene Perry Howard, Benjamin Howard, Johnny Howard, Jr. and Christopher Howard; siblings Ernest Vaden and his wife Minnie, Michael Vaden and his wife Julia and Caroline Alexander; Brothers and Sisters in law Joseph & Georgetta Armstron, Jerry Lee Armstrong, John Henry & Ernestine Armstrong, Thomas & Rosetta Armstrong, Albert & Ernestine Armstrong and David Armstrong; Uncle Lyndell Vaden and his wife Zernetha and his Aunts Sallie Smith and Katherine Chancy. A Wake will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Sunday, December 18, 2016, where his family will be receiving visitors from 4:00pm-9:00pm with Eulogies to begin at 7:00pm. A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 11:30am. A funeral procession will depart after the service for interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
