Carolyn C. Jimenez entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the age of 65 years.  She was born in Odessa, Texas on July 26, 1955 to David and Edna Word.  Carolyn enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Dacy; father, David Word; stepfather, Charles Ross and mother-in-law, Paula Jimenez.  Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Joe L. Jimenez Sr.; children, Joe Jimenez Jr. (Veronica), Marcy Crawford (Cody), Charles David Jimenez Sr. (Vanessa); mother, Edna Ross; sisters, Tillie Gauger, LeAnn Dacy (James), Becky Ross Akers (Reed); brothers, Charles Ross (Velia), Mike Ross (Donna); grandchildren, Katelyn, Madison, Sydney, Breanna, Charles David Jr., Journey, Cora and Jozlyn; nieces, Dazziah and Darryan; as well as other nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Monday, December 14 ^th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 15 ^th at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Saspamco.
