Betty Jeanne Matheson Barker went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 4, 2015 at the age of 85 years. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 22, 1929 to Phillip Harvey and Birt Emma Littlefield. Betty was a fun loving person, whom enjoyed life to its fullest. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Samuel Eugene Matheson and Henry "Hank" T. Barker; her parents; and siblings, Trudy Coates, Delbert, Barney, and Harvey Cecil Littlefield, and Mozelle Fuller. Betty is survived by her children, Beverly Peters and husband Pete, Kathleen Matheson, Dyke Matheson, and Ted Barker and wife Wendy; brother, T.A. Littlefield and wife Nancy; grandchildren, Bobby Miller, Rodney Miller, Kimmerie Kirtner, Casey Lee Barker, Brooke Nicole Allo, Shelby Rae Barker, Ralph Orozco, Monte Joe Myler, Jr., David "DJ" Robinson; great grandchildren, Joshua, Megan, and Matthew Miller, Chelsea and Hannah Kirtner, Tim McCarron, Isaac Allo, and Maxwell Christian Myler; four great-great grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Monday, May 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12th at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
