Bernardo Hernandez Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the age of 80 years. He was a member of the Senior Charter Bowling League and of the Married Couples Society Club. Bernie was a Lector at St. Joseph's South San Catholic Church and CCD Teacher for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olivia; brother, Celestino Hernandez. He is survived by his children, Sylvia Sanchez (Michael), Norma Perez (John), Daniel Hernandez (Laura), Bernardo Javier Hernandez III (Brenda), Rodolfo Rocha, Rita Mungia (Mario), Rosaura Rocha (Ayda Alderete), Renan Rocha, Ruben Rocha; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. Visitation for Bernie will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Tuesday, December 20th beginning at 5:30 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21st for a 12:00 p.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Joseph's South San Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando II Cemetery.
