Born in San Antonio to Primitivo and Maria Lopez Martinez on October 29, 1932, and passed into eternal life on March 14, 2024. She was married to Henry Garcia and had 3 sons: Henry Jr. (Rosalinda), Thomas Ray (Kathy), and Albert (Rosemary); 8 grandchildren, and numerous great and great grandchildren. Also, numerous brothers and sisters. Anita was a member of St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed many things in life mostly playing BINGO was her favorite but, also casino slots, playing poker, and other card games. She also like baking her famous banana bread, homemade tortillas, tamales, and menudo, she was an EXCELLENT cook! Our beloved mother will be missed by family, friends, and our dog Gizmo who she called baby, but we all know that she will now be walking hand in hand with her husband the love of her life in Heaven. I would like to thank all with AIP Hospice who helped make her journey go peacefully. Also, the staff at Harbor Valley H&R. A viewing will be held for Anita on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at San Fernando Cemetery #2 at 10:00 a.m.
