Angela M. Davis went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the age of 86 years. She was born in San Antonio, TX on May 9, 1931 to Victor and Ursula Wander. Angela enjoyed reading and working word search puzzles. She loved watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Ursula Wander; husband, George A. Davis; son, Fred Davis; granddaughter, Maria Davis; brother, Victor Wander Jr.; and sister, Theresa Smith.. Angela is survived by her children, Helen (Luke) Singletary, Michael (Judy) Davis, Henry Davis, Elizabeth (Carey) Ray, Dennis (Sarah) Davis, Ann Davis; sisters, Agnes (Robert) Fletcher, Mary Ann (Bob) Knowles, and Emma Davis; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Monday, July 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at El Carmen Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 11th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Leming, TX.
