Alice Yvonne Shaw entered into rest on January 25, 2025 at the age of 85. She was born in Oaks, Texas and resided in San Antonio, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lee Roy Massengale & Minnie Lucille Drumm Massengale, her husband, Charles Shaw Jr.  Sisters: Barbara Jerkins and Doris Duran.  Brothers: Wilburn Massengale , Lewis Massengale , Wayne Massengale, Lee Roy Massengale Jr, and
James Massengale.

She is survived by sons: Charles R. Shaw III(Chuck) wife (Terri), Mark A. Shaw Sr. wife (Phyllis). Grandchildren: Ashley Denecamp (Danny),

Mark A. Shaw Jr. (Nikki) . Great Grandchildren: Emily Grace Denecamp, Daniel Ray Denecamp III, Mark Alan Shaw III, and Charles Wayne Shaw.

Brothers: Ronnie Massengale (Lina), Harry Massengale (Mary), Larry Massengale (Ruth), Norman Massengale (Hope). Sisters: Betty Klein (Gene), Carol Busby (Spurgeon). Brother-in-law, George Ronnie Shaw, and Sister-in-law, Betty Lou Shaw. And her beloved pets, Dogs: Knubbers and Furby. And many cats, hers and everyone else's in the neighborhood.

"Gaw Gaw," as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren, loved spending time with family, cooking to feed an army, playing bunco, reading and visiting her little cabin in St. Charles Bay. Alice was a member of Eastern Star, an elder of Boldtville Presbyterian Church, and belonged to several bunco clubs, Presbyterian Women, and Bible studies. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, but we find peace in knowing that she is pain-free and reunited with her husband ("Paw Paw") in heaven.

In lieu of flowers, donation in Alice's name to Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Jude's are greatly encouraged.

A Visitation will be held at Boldtville Presbyterian Church on Monday, February 03, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Cover Cemetery.
