Alfredo
Hoskins
Feb 13, 1948 — Feb 5, 2022
Alfredo "Freddy" Hoskins went to join God's band of angels on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 12:30 a.m. He was born Alfredo Gensomini in Venice, Italy on February 13, 1948, to Rita Gensomini and William Hoskins. He came to the United States in 1965, and proudly joined the US army in 1968 where he served in the Forth Battalion Infantry in Korea. He married "his childhood sweetheart" Shirley in 1970 and they had three children together. Freddy was devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved them deeply and unconditionally. There was nothing he wouldn't do for any one of them. Freddy was a terrazzo mechanic who worked on many beautiful projects for Venice Art Terrazzo for over 50 years. He was a true company man. He loved his job and the people he worked for and with, Venice Art was his second home and the DiFilippo's were his extended family. Freddy never met a stranger. He made friends wherever he went and would definitely "talk their ears off".
He leaves behind his wife Shirley, his three children, Monica and Rob Urey, Christina and Christopher Sr. Ward, Michael and Elizabeth Hoskins, his three grandchildren, Corina and Jarrett Culbreath, Danielle and Bernardo Pegas, and Christopher Ward Jr., his sister, Winnie Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.
You are not really gone
Because you will always be in our hearts
You shall forever be alive
And we will never have to part
