Alejandro Garcia went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the age of 91 years. He was born in Laredo, Texas on March 1, 1926 to Rodolfo and Herlinda Garcia. Alejandro served in the U.S. Marines during World War II and was a member of the Local #142 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Hortencia Garcia in 2006, his parents and two siblings. Alejandro is survived by his children, Norma Garcia, Alex (Jane) Garcia, David Garcia, Diana (Albert) G. Martinez, Peter Anthony (Sandra) Garcia, Corinne (Henry) Moreno; grandchildren, Rebecca Pena, Peter Pena, Katherine Garcia, Phillip Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Ramiro Garcia-Villareal, Paul Martinez, Andrew Martinez, Derek Garcia, Max Moreno, Zachariah Moreno, Victoria Moreno; great grandchildren, Mateo and Koen Garcia; also numerous loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday July 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a rosary at 12:00 noon. Services will conclude following chapel services.
